Bryan Kenneth Pourcho (Jan 28, 1958 - May 11, 2017)

Bryan Kenneth Pourcho, 59, beloved Husband and Father, was called to his eternal heavenly home on May 11, 2017. He was born on January 28, 1958 in Detroit, Michigan to Kenneth J. and Betty Lila Pourcho. He is survived by his wife Kim Pourcho, their daughter Erin Pourcho, his brother Robert Pourcho, Robert's wife Karen, and their three children Katheryn, John (Caitlyn) and Stephen (Lauren) Pourcho; Brother-in-law Taylor Orr, his wife Cendy Orr and their sons Joshua and Nathan Orr, and Kim's parents Rev. Norman and Joyce Orr.

Bryan served as a cadet at the United States Air Force Academy from 1976-1978. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1980 with a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and from the University of Alabama in 2001 with a Masters of Business Administration. He began his career in Aerospace Engineering in St. Louis, Missouri in 1980 and went on to become a pioneer in the field of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Huntsville, Alabama. His 37 year career in Aerospace Engineering supported many platforms including fighter, jets, helicopters and unmanned aircraft. His technical ability allowed him to move beyond his desk and wheelchair where he protected many lives.

Despite becoming disabled in 1994, Bryan continued his work with dedication and enjoyed his hobbies of bow hunting, traveling and his passion for Alabama Football. Bryan's on-going perseverance over physical disability and hardship will continue to inspire and encourage many.

A memorial service will be held on Monday May 15 at 11AM at Southside Baptist Church in Huntsville, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Physically Challenged Bowhunters of America (PCBA) so that Bryan's memory will continue to bless other disabled hunters. Their address is 6146 N. That Lane Bloomfield, IN 47424. Credit card donations can be made by phone 855-247-7222.
